Creck Hardware and General Supplies successfully undertook the Supply, Delivery and Commissioning of Generator Sets in Likoma and Chizumulu Islands under a project funded through the Malawi Rural Electrification Programme (MAREP).

The project was aimed at strengthening power generation capacity and improving access to reliable electricity for communities and institutions on the two islands.
As part of the project, Creck Hardware supplied and delivered high-capacity 750KVA generator sets to both Likoma and Chizumulu Islands. The project involved complex logistical planning and coordination to ensure the safe transportation, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the equipment in the remote island locations.
Following the successful installation of the generators, Creck Hardware carried out comprehensive testing and commissioning procedures to ensure that the systems were operating efficiently and in accordance with the required technical specifications. The generators were successfully integrated into the existing power infrastructure, enhancing the reliability and stability of electricity supply within the targeted areas.
To ensure the long-term sustainability and effective operation of the equipment, Creck Hardware also conducted extensive training sessions for technical and operational staff. The training covered generator operation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting procedures, safety practices, and system monitoring. This equipped personnel with the knowledge and skills required to manage and maintain the generator systems effectively.
The successful completion of this project demonstrated Creck Hardware's capability to deliver large-scale power infrastructure solutions, even in challenging and remote environments. The project remains a notable achievement within the company's portfolio and reflects its commitment to supporting national development through the provision of reliable and sustainable energy solutions.
